Traditional Treatments offers the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) approach to treating a variety of common conditions with a particular interest in gynaecology, IVF assistance, anxiety, stress, pain management and sporting injuries.
Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches the treatment of illness with a different philosophy to that of Western Medicine. This philosophy has a 3,000 year history during which it has been finely tuned and has successfully helped millions of people worldwide. Its components consist of the four distinct techniques of acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chinese massage therapy and diet therapy.
Tanya Graham is the primary Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner at Traditional Treatments. Tanya graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from Griffith University before completing a bachelor of Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) at RMIT in Victoria. Whilst enjoying the seven months of her internship in Nanjing China, she developed an interest in using acupuncture and herbs for the treatment of gynaecological problems.
She has worked with a number of well known Australian practitioners in the gynaecological field and has enjoyed many successes during her time in clinical practice.
